Overdue update!

Hello to all my fellow blog readers, I'm sorry for the missing updates on my time here in Battambang! I hope your withdrawal symptoms from not getting new blogs are bearable. Especially, because I'm pretty sure I will have trouble finding the time to write a proper one this weekend as well.

But I can confidently say, that I'm feeling well here! Right now I'm having a rather busy time, as my professor from my university is visiting. She brings many new and interesting ideas for the research work, so the daily programms are filled to the top.

But the least I can do, is leave you with some pictures of what we've been doing! As you can see, I had my hair cut by my friend with pink hair, I had a presentation of my work, I continue to love going to the markets, and I'm still in the process of preparing the insect traps. Then there is a picture of this concrete-building with no windows. Speakers on top imitate bird sounds to attract a certain species of swiftlets. They build their nests there, which are afterwards collected for consumption (bird nest soup)
