Arriving in Phnom Penh
The flight was a bit exhausting, because the seats were too small for me. Without me really sleeping, my plane landed at 5:30am today in Phnom Penh. I took a taxi to the city and luckily I could already enter the airbnb at 7am. I took a short nap, because at 10.30am I met my supervisors of the internship, Lucile and Mathilde, for the first time for brunch. Lucile picked me up at my place by tuktuk und we drove to a French place full of French expats, where we met Mathilde, her husband, and her son.
I felt warmly welcomed and was happy to finally meet them. They both seem friendly, relaxed, and curious and we had a great morning together.
There would be many things to say about the city's appearance and first impressions, but my eyes are almost closing by themselves.
Sounds like a great start into your time in Cambodia!
